Austin #2 for US Cities by Forbes

Forbes.com lists Austin as No. 2 for best U.S. cities with metros with the best future job growth for the next three years. With a 4.1% projected annual job growth and a strong local workforce many companies are attracted to the Austin area.

Austin Attracts Technology Companies

Austin, Texas continues to be a big draw for technology companies. Companies like Dropbox, Oracle and IBM have announced major expansions in the coming years. In Feb. San Diego based Websense revealed plans to moves its corporate headquarters to Austin and just this week chip designer Encore Inc. opened a development office. Southwest Williamson County Regional Park in LeanderThe almost 800 acre Southwest Williamson County Regional Park in Leander, Texas is a fun place for the entire family. This public park  offers playscapes, six basketball courts, eight tennis courts, a football field surrounded by a 400 meter track, two softball fields and eleven soccer fields. The hike & bike trails surround the outside perimeter of the developed park land. The Cedar Rock Railroad's miniature train provides visitor's views of  the landscapes and habitats of the park.
