Central Texas Home Inspection by BuyersSome sellers may think they can avoid making or paying for repairs if they don't allow the buyer to inspect their property. This is not a good idea for the seller to approach things this way if they want to actually close on a property in Texas. First, more than likely the buyer is still in an option period if they are trying to perform their inspections. If they are still in their option period and the seller will not let them inspect the property the buyer can simply terminate the contract.

If an unmodified Texas Real Estate Commission contract form was used, it includes language that requires the seller to give the buyer or the buyers agent access to the property at reasonable times and also allows a buyer to have the property inspected. The bottom
